E-WOOD è un progetto basato su una struttura razionalizzata e semplificata che racconta uno stile naturale, dal sapore autentico, privo di elementi superflui, in cui il legno è il protagonista indiscusso di una risposta sostenibile all’abitare domestico, che non rinuncia alla qualità estetica e alla funzionalità.
Con la sua immagine semplice e funzionale, il superfluo scompare a favore di una maggior cura dei dettagli.
“Si parte da un materiale: il legno e dalla volontà di rendere questo legno veramente ecologico, con struttura e massa naturale.
Il legno mi interessa di più adesso perché lo sento affine al mio modo di sentire di oggi. Non tutti i tipi di legno vanno bene, ma molti si possono usare e aiutano a non dissipare CO2.
Il tema di compatibilità ambientale del prodotto va sempre tenuto presente (anche se ora è un po’ troppo glamour) associandolo con un progetto di paziente ricerca delle qualità oggettive che sono immediatamente percepibili “a istinto”.
E-WOOD is a project based on a rationalised and simplified structure, one that speaks of a natural and authentically flavoured style, devoid of superfluous elements, a style in which wood becomes the undisputed key-player in a sustainable response to domestic living, one that will renounce neither the aesthetic qualities nor its functionality.
With its simple and functional image, the superfluous disappears, giving way to a greater attention being paid to detail.
“We start from a material: wood, and from the wish to turn this wood into something that is really ecological and natural, with a natural structure and mass.
Today wood intrigues me to a greater extent because I sense its empathy with the way I feel nowadays. Mind you, not all types of wood are suitable, but a lot of it can be used and it helps in preventing the dissipation of CO2.
The theme concerning the product’s environmental compatibility must always be kept in mind (even if nowadays it has perhaps become a little too glamorous), associating it with a project for patient research into objective qualities that are immediately and “instinctively” perceivable.
